Sandvik replacement increase the productvity at the Russian mine OJSC “Stoilenski GOK”
Sandvik Mining and Construction continues its collaboration with Open JSC "Stoilenski GOK" in Russia. The contract for crushing and screening equipment has been signed in the course of project implementation.
Eight CH880 cone crushers plus eight LF3060D screens are to be delivered according to a new contract from beginning of 2010. They will replace the last Russian machines, and by end 2010 Stoilenski GOK's fine and medium crushing stations will be replaced, and equipped with Sandvik machines. This new equipment supplied by Sandvik, will not only increase the productivity of the crushing stations, but also boost the ore-dressing works' output without constructing any new buildings.
Sandvik has been taking active part in reconstruction of Stoilenski ore-dressing and processing complex's fine and medium crushing unit since 2006. Three processing lines in the mine are taking partof the process, each of them consist of one medium cone crusher and three fine cone crushers. At current moment, four Sandvik CH880 cone crushers and four LF3060D vibrating screens are already running at one of these lines. Replacement of existing Russian equipment with Sandvik's in 2006 ensured a considerable increase in productivity and improved the size reduction of the final product.
Having witnessed stability and performance of the new Sandvik equipment, managers of Stoilenski ore-dressing and processing complex decided to make further use of the CН880 cone crushers and LF 3060D screens for reconstruction.
Sandvik Mining and Construction seeks to continue cooperation with Stoilenski ore-dressing and processing complex to maintain on going improvement and development of the crushing and screening process to assure lowest operating cost and at the same time improve the performance.
