Sandvik and Outotec enter collaboration in the area of comminution

Sandvik Mining and Outotec have successfully cooperated in several past customer projects in a trustful and often informal way. The basis for cooperation has been that the offerings of the two companies are complementary and do not overlap, providing a complete process solution for minerals processing plants including ore crushing, grinding and concentrating.

Sandvik and Outotec have now decided to deepen the cooperation as there is significant value creation potential through a closer relationship. To create a solid foundation for generating mutual value, both parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, expressing in which areas they jointly wish to build a closer working relationship.

Thanks to the individual strengths, capabilities and product portfolios of Sandvik and Outotec, customers can benefit from an optimized process throughout their mining value chain, resulting in efficient recovery of minerals, energy efficiency and improved environmental performance.
