Sandvik Mobiles show latest developments at Hillhead

The Sandvik Construction range of Mobile Crushing and Screening equipment is world renown. Modern, highly productive, fuel efficient and developed with a focus on low cost per ton production and customers' real requirements, the Mobiles range includes crushing and screening solutions for every application.

Impressive Range
Hillhead 2014 is seen as the perfect opportunity for Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens to display some of the latest developments from the ever growing product portfolio. Examples from across the range will be shown allowing customers to see at first-hand cone and jaw crushers, as well as screens and scalpers.

Live Demonstrations
In addition to the equipment on the stand, Sandvik Mobiles will be running a series of hourly demonstrations in front of the Sandvik Construction stand. The demonstrations will showcase two of the latest developments to the range:

• NEW Hanging Screen
• NEW QS331 Cone crusher

Global Product Launch – New Hanging Screen
The demonstration area will see the Global Launch of Sandvik Mobiles' very latest development – the purpose designed Hanging Screen. This 4 x 1.5 m (13' x 5') screen has been developed initially for the QH range of cone crushers, allowing the machine to produce a screened product and recirculate the oversize back into the feed conveyor. Alternatively the oversize conveyor may be hydraulically rotated through 90° to stockpile and produce two products. The Hanging screen will be fitted to the QH crusher on the demonstration area, thereby allowing customers to see this highly productive and efficient piece of equipment at first hand.

UK Show Debut for QS Range of Cone crushers
One machine that is sure to be the focus of customer attention at Hillhead is the recently launched QS331 Cone crusher. This uses Sandvik's "S" type gyratory cone crusher which has proven itself in stationary applications for over 30 years, but now incorporated into self-contained, diesel driven, track-mounted plant. The "S" type is capable of accepting large feed sizes and offers customers high throughput, superior performance combined with high product quality.
