Martin Friedl appointed Vice President SA Central Europe
Sandvik Construction is pleased to announce that Martin Friedl has been appointed Vice President Sales Area Central Europe. Martin's new role, which is effective as of the 1st September 2014, will present new challenges, but Martin is seen as the ideal appointment for this key position within the Sandvik Construction organization.
Sandvik Construction is pleased to announce that as of the 1st September 2014 Martin Friedl is to be the new Vice President Sales Area Central Europe. In this new role Martin will succeed Hans Schuller who left Sandvik in June for new challenges outside the company. Martin will take on this new role in addition to his current one as Sales Area Manager for Russia.
Sandvik Construction Sales Area Central Europe represents a large opportunity for Sandvik due in no small part to the upturn of the German market, and the potential of the Eastern European markets. Martin brings to his new role a wealth of experience from within both the construction industry and many years with Sandvik. He is thus seen as the ideal person to capitalize on the opportunities presented by such buoyant market conditions.
Martin will report to Vice President Global Markets Northern and Central Europe, Harri Leinonen. All within Sandvik Construction wish him the best in this highly challenging new role.
