Customer focused training solutions in Argentina
For nearly 150 years the name of Sandvik has been synonymous with crusher quality. In our quest to provide total solutions for our customers, we have invested heavily in operator training holding courses throughout the world. One of the latest such training program's was held recently in Argentina for owners and operators of cone crushers.
No matter how good the cone crushers are if operators aren't fully trained to use the equipment to its full potential, nor undertake on-the-spot maintenance, the investment in the equipment will not be maximized. Our business is based on being a highly experienced partner that understands our customers' business and their needs. That's why customers in the quarrying industry turn to Sandvik Construction. As part of our continuing partnership approach in working with our customers to get the most from their equipment, a training program was held on the 12th and 13th August in Cordoba, Argentina. This was specifically focused on the maintenance and operation of the CH420 to CH660 series of Sandvik cone crushers.
The program was conducted by Sandvik's cone crusher specialist, Roney Eden, who travelled to Argentina from Sweden. Over two days of intense work, the 30+ service and operational heads from quarrying, surface mining and construction companies from Olavarria and Cordoba, undertook a variety of courses. The topics covered included:
- Health & Safety
- Process
- Theoretical review of crusher components
- Operation and maintenance
- Crushing chambers and crusher feed
- The control system of the crusher, ASRi
- Different levels of inspections
- San Remo system
- Obtaining operating data from the crushers through satellite signals
- Data collection and maintenance (including some of Sandvik's latest developments in this field).
The latest cone crusher training and maintenance program in Argentina shows that when it comes to operator development no one delivers a higher value service than Sandvik. Through ensuring operators are made aware of the fundamentals of operational safety and high productivity we help ensure that customers' results are maximized through helping them achieve optimum safe performance from their equipment.
