First ever customer day held in Georgia
On the 6th November 2015, Elite Motors, Sandvik Construction's authorized agent in Georgia, hosted the first ever dedicated customer day in the country. More than 60 representatives from the government, universities, local and international companies, came to hear about our solutions based offering.

Elite Motors' customer day was the first ever such event for Sandvik Construction to be held in Georgia, and follows on from a series of successful such events held in Turkey and throughout the region. The 60 or so guests included existing customers and representatives from a variety of companies and organizations who were keen to learn more about the Sandvik offering, as well as the services Elite Motors is able to offer. They comprised of engineers, managers, operatives and other members of staff from local and international contractors and construction companies. Additionally government officials and representatives from universities and other institutions also attended.

The event was hosted by Mr. Zviad Antelidze, Managing Director of Elite Motors, who was pleased to show his guests the very latest solutions based construction equipment available from Sandvik Construction. He was ably supported by Mr. Guga Klibadze, Sales Manager, and Mr. Vano Babunashvili, the Aftermarket Manager. They were able to show that they could not only supply the world leading range of Sandvik equipment, but also support customer operations through servicing and advice.
Assisting at the Elite Motors Customer team were representatives from Sandvik Construction Turkey and Central Asia. They were able to explain the attributes of the drill rigs and breakers, as well as answering any questions from the guests. They thus provided invaluable support and advice, sharing our insight into how Sandvik has provided solutions throughout Turkey and Central Asia.
In order to show how we are able to assist two case studies were presented. These consisted of the SCC crushing and screening plant in Tbilisi, and the 10 DD421-60C jumbo drill rigs operated by AGE Insaat in Batumi. These operations show the wide range of products and services now available to the Caucasian Construction Industry through Elite Motors.

Sandvik Construction's first customer event in the Caucasus proved to be a great success as it enabled us to further introduce our products and services to the construction industry in the region.
