Sandvik DD312i is an advanced single boom development drill for underground mine development and small scale tunneling. It features a compact carrier and a wide range of automatic drilling functions for high level of performance, drilling accuracy and safety.

Intelligent control system

The drill is equipped with Sandvik Intelligent Control System Architecture (SICA), a well-proven and commonly used computerized control system across intelligent Sandvik drill rigs. This technology enables a wide range of scalable automated functions, in order to maximize your profitability.
Fit to purpose

With a wide choice of booms and feeds, and the largest coverage in its size class, Sandvik DD312i can be used, in all small to large underground drifts, or medium size tunnels, for face drilling, cross cutting or roof drilling for bolting, in development and/or production in room and pillar, cut and fill, stoping or caving mining methods.
Optimized working environment

Sandvik DD312i meets highest safety, environment, and operator comfort standards, following all international and local safety standards.

It is equipped with an ergonomic and comfortable FOPS/ROPS cabin that offers rotating seat for standing and seated drilling, air conditioning with increase filtration, reduced noise level and improved visibility.

Smooth integration of the drill into your production process thanks to our Digital Driller™ training solution that allows to develop operators' skills in a realistic environment. The spare parts standardization through the range helps to optimize the parts logistics.
