Sandvik DT1232i is a fully automated i-series tunneling jumbo. With three electro-hydraulic booms and a high frequency rock drill RD535, you’ll achieve fast, accurate drilling in tunneling and cavern excavations.

SB160i instrumented boom
Featuring a front wrist structure, the 3 meter telescopic SB160i boom provides 1 meter additional side coverage, extending to 4 meters with telescopic adjustment. It uses a fully-proportional boom control for fast and precise manual boom handling (automated controls available in the Platinum package option).

Ergonomic cabin
The vibration-dampened, FOPS-compliant cabin offers a comfortable, safe operator environment with great visibility, low noise and dust filtration while tramming and drilling.

Superior drilling accuracy
Alpha360 bits and GT38 rods are optimized for the powerful RD535 rock drill to produce greater drilling accuracy at higher speeds. Reduce drilling time and increase advance meters per cycle in your tunneling projects.

DT1232i tunneling jumbo can be equipped with a new Stage V diesel motor (option), limiting particle matter and improving exhaust filtration by 40%.
