Features
-
Three body modules
RD921 has three body modules joined with short side bolts, ensuring minimal joint faces and large contact surfaces. The percussion module consists of two moving parts, the piston and the distributor sleeve around the piston, which are guided by a single pilot cylinder for part alignment.
-
Stabilizer
The stabilizer keeps the shank adapter in an optimal position in relation to the piston. This ensures good rock/bit contact and energy transfer, expanding the penetration rate and rock tool service life.
-
Heavy-duty rock drill
Designed for surface top hammer rigs, Sandvik RD921 drills holes up to 29 meters deep, with an optimal hole range of 76 to 89 mm, using T38 and T45 MF-rods.
