Charger® RR440 is a sealed journal-bearing blasthole bit designed for surface mining with up to 169% longer lifetime and a lower cost per meter than standard air bits.
Features
-
Increased productivity
The patented QX2 bearing uses “dual seal” technology combined with Phinodal bearing sleeves to significantly increase weight and rotation speed capacities. Kevlar™ coated excluder seal protects the primary seal from cuttings and debris, making this system virtually bulletproof.
-
Optimal design
This rotary bit features advanced cutting structures for superior wear, an asymmetrical leg to aid flushing while maximizing hole wall clearance, full leg protection for maximum bit life and an extended backflow valve to limit water and cuttings to the bit internals.
-
Economical maintenance
The QX2 bearing allows drillers to apply more weight, drill faster and lower drilling costs. Fewer bit changes and less manual handling mean cost-effective maintenance.
