AutoMine® Single Drill is the first of three levels of autonomous underground drilling feature packages for Sandvik longhole drills (DL) i-series machines. This package offers tele-remote operation and supervision for a single Sandvik underground drill, which maximizes productivity and safety while increasing drilling efficiency.

Enhanced operator safety
AutoMine® Single Drill enables tele-remote control and supervision of single underground drill rig, improving operator safety and performance. The system offers flexibility to operate from an AutoMine® chair or console. Onboard components, such as Access Protector 2, enhance safety by preventing personnel from entering the machine area during automation or remote mode.

Reduced equipment damage
AutoMine® Single Drill for underground drill reduces equipment damage and lowers maintenance costs due to less wear and tear with automated functions. The onboard camera system provides clear visibility and audio stream, allowing remote operators to remain aware of obstacles around the rig. The flexible installation positions of the onboard camera system enable optimal visibility and a wide range of viewing angles while audio stream allows more realistic and informative scene over drilling operation.

With AutoMine® Single Drill, automated equipment achieves less downtime and operates continuously with tele-remote ring-to-ring tramming, ensuring consistently high performance and increased production hours.
